Recognition of the most facial variations, such as identity, age and gender has been extensively studied. This paper concerns with providing a methodology to estimate age group and gender using face features. This process involves four stages: Pre-processing, Face Normalization, Feature Extraction and Classification. The geometric features of facial images like wrinkle geography, face angle, left eye to right eye distance, eye to nose distance, eye to chin distance and eye to lip distance are calculated. Based on the texture and shape information age classification is done. Age ranges are classified dynamically depending on number of groups using SVM classifier algorithm. This paper can be used for predicting future faces, classifying gender, and expression detection from facial images.

Keywords - Face detection, Feature extraction, Gaussian filter, LBP, Matlab, SVM .

Image authentication watermarking scheme can substantially solve the security of digital images transmitted through insecure channel. In this paper we propose a semi-fragile watermarking scheme for image authentication, localizing and recovering. The approximation sub-band of the second Discrete Wavelet Transformation (DWT), LL2 is used as recovery watermark while the fifth approximation sub-band LL5 is used as authentication and localizing watermark. The two watermarks are embedded into the first approximation sub-band LL1 using the Quantization Index Modulation (QIM). To reduce the size of the recovery watermark, Data Representation through Combination (DRC) is practically used. The experimental results show that our proposed algorithm can resist JPEG compression and give an acceptable estimation of the watermarked image even after the watermarked image has been tampered.

Air pollution and noise pollution from vehicles is a factor included in the assessment of the environmental impact of road. In order to carry out this assessment it is necessary to have a method to know the environmental condition of the road. In the relation to the roadside environmental problems, the planner should be know the environmental condition of each road section or road side, such as which roadside have bad environmental condition. This is very useful for planning and improving purpose. This paper describes the method of evaluating the environmental condition of road through the comparison of each roadside. To support this evaluating works, the preference analysis method were developed is used to find the designated output. Through this evaluation method, the ranking of roadside in relation to the environmental condition is proposed. The ranking is presented from the roadside with bad environmental condition this micro level presentation is then practicable and enormously useful for further inspire in roadside environmental evaluation.

Hazardous materials are defined to be the substances that can have harmful effects to human, environment and property. These risks exist due to the nature, the hazardous properties or the state of the above materials. Fuels are categorized to flammable hazardous materials, either in the liquid or gas phase. Industrial needs as well as several human activities depend on the daily transportation of fuels. The consequences of road accidents involving fuel fires cannot be compared to the ones of simple collisions in terms of seriousness. Risks involved in transportation because of freight's hazardous properties (flammability, explosivity etc) are probable to give an extended radius to the affected area during a fire accident. A methodology for conducting a fire safety study during transportation of fuels and the basic elements for emergency and security planning are given with some indicative examples for implementation.............

The term biometrics comes from the combination of the Greek words 'bios', which Means life, and 'metric', which in its turn means measuring. Biometric technologies aim primarily at identifying a person's unique features, be those physiological or behavioural. Failure rate is a critical consideration in the configuration and day to day running of a biometric system. Two types of failure rate must be considered; false acceptance rates and false rejection rates. PCA (principal component analysis) model system was used for the face recognition. The system was successfully designed using MATLAB. The face recognition was implemented and the system performance was tested using ORL database (face sets) validation, generalization and rejection testing methods. The system performance was good and the efficiency of the system was proven by plotting a graph. The system was design and was successfully tested and it has proven to be efficiently, although under bad condition the system does its best to provide the right top five ranking image.

This paper proposes a new meta-heuristic search algorithm, called Bat Algorithm (BA). Bat algorithm is an optimization technique motivated by the echolocation behavior of natural bats in finding their foods. The new algorithm is implemented to solve Environmental/Economic power Dispatch (EED) problem in power systems considering the power limits, valve-point effects and transmission loss. The EED problem can be solved by summing up the minimization of generation cost and emission by considering weighting factor. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm has been tested on 10-generator system and the results were compared with other methods reported in recent literature.

In the research, 10 Red Holstein and 10 Black Holstein cow milk samples were used. The observed levels of milk components were compared with the reference values (min. fat 3.25%, min. non-fat solid 8.25%) in quality raw milk used for full fat yoghurt production using one-sample t test. The results desired significant differences between values of the milk samples in Black and Red Holstein cows and the acceptable reference values for fat and non-fat solid of quality raw milk. Our results show that dairy cows have a better genotype for the full fat yoghurt production because of high parameter levels in their milk. Maximum levels of milk fat and non-fat solid are essential for obtaining the desired dairy production. Further researches are needed to improve the interpretations about milk parameters associated with full fat yoghurt production in dairy cow breeds using statistical control methods such as one sample t test between reference and observed milk parameters

Keywords - Holstein, cow, milk, yoghurt.
