This work deals with the assessment of the quality of the cutting surface using microscopic analysis. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the knowledge related to electrical sheets produced by different manufacturers is presented. A very important parameter of cutting technology is the cutting gap. It has a major influence on the formation of the cutting surface and its shape. It also influences the actual hardening of the material during cutting and the distribution of the individual zones on the cutting surface. The experimental part of this work is focused on the measurement of the plastic shear zone, which is one of the main parameters for evaluating the quality of the cutting surface. It is characterized as the ratio of the shear zone thickness to the fracture zone thickness.

This paper deals with the simulation of deep drawing steel DC06 with a thickness of 0.7 mm and the influence of the blank holding force on the deep drawing process using the Hill48-Hollomon models. The simulation of the technological process is an integral part of engineering production. The deep drawing is a complex process, the quality of which is affected by several factors including friction, blank holding force, punch velocity or die and punch radius. In this paper earing of DC06 were evaluated using Simufact forming software.

The aim of this work is to analyse a classifier for different image enhancement and feature reduction techniques for emotion classification. Therefore, Convolutional neural network and FER2013 dataset is considered for classifying facial expressions. The images from FER2013 were first enhanced using combination of brightness, sharpness, and contrast followed by features extraction using Principal reduction technique and independent component analysis. The features were then fed to CNN. The performance of classifier is analysed with different performances metrics. The analysis revealed that performance of CNN with different combination of image enhancement and feature reduction has impact in terms of accuracy and precision.
