Wawonii Island is one of the small islands in Southeast Sulawesi Province whose entire region represents one Regency in Southeast Sulawesi, namely Konawe Kepulauan Regency. The people of Wawonii Island are people who are more likely to choose to live farming and use existing forest resources than being fishermen, whereas generally they live in coastal areas. This is supported by the fact that Wawonii Island holds a large amount of potential, especially the potential of forest resources which if managed wisely will be able to provide welfare for people living around the forest, especially swidden agriculture who cultivate forest land with local wisdom that can ensure the sustainability of forest ecosystems also means sustainability human life on the island. In fact, existing forests have suffered a lot of damage due to exploitation for the sake of clearing land for plantations and mining and the occurrence of illegal logging by a number of irresponsible individuals..............

To achieve precise springback prediction, it is important to describe correctly stress and strain state during the forming process and after the load removal. The accuracy of the springback prediction depends on the material model, which describes the deformation behavior of steel sheets. In each sheet metal forming process, the steel, in this case deep drawing quality steel DC06 exhibits springback effect, which is governed by strain recovery of material after the load removal. In this work, numerical simulation of a V-shape part bending was performed and compared with experimental data. Springback is related to many parameters like forming conditions, tool geometry and material properties such as sheet thickness, yield stress, work hardening, strain rate sensitivity and elasticity modulus............

There have beensignificant technologies improvements since the oil industry first began drilling horizontal wells. However, the greatest obstacle is identifying suitable technology that can be used successfully in a specific reservoir. Selecting the best technology is a complicated process that requires simulation techniques combined with dynamic performance. Dynamic performance is modeled using numerical techniques, which can become an arduous task. This leads to an increase in well productivity or injectivity which surpasses the capabilities of vertical wells. This paper reviews studies that have used a number of different simulation techniques to accurately model horizontal wells. These techniques have been used to model different aspects of the recovery process, including completion, simulation, production, and enhanced oil recovery. These techniques can be used to solve complex problems with minimum costs in money and time.

Along with storing large quantities of carbon, peatlands also play an important role in the retention, purification and release of water and in the mitigation of droughts and floods. In Lower U Minh melaleuca forest, in the past peatlands have been decreasing very quicklydue to the burning forest and the agriculture activities. So, peatlands have become net sources of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Changes peatlands may cause changes in net carbon storage. Currently, there is minimal carbon data for this national park. Therefore, our objectives were to measure C stocks of peatlands for this ecosystem. Forty five plots were established at a size of 1,600m2 (40mx40m) in the plantation Melaleuca forest and in the natural Melaleuca forest. In total, 225 peat samples were collected between 2015-2017.............

The growth of oil palm plantations in Landak, West Kalimantan, Indonesia, has greatly increased. Fresh fruit bunches (FFB) of oil palm have been produced at 2,148,210.62 tons in Landak region in 2011-2016. This directly increases the production of crude palm oil (CPO) in palm oil mills (POM). However, the increase in oil palm processing has resulted in increased solid and liquid wastes. One of the solid wastes produced in 2011- 2016 was the empty fruit bunches (EFB), which amounted to 322,232 tons. Nowadays, a small amount of EFB is used for compost, but most of it is still disposed of in landfills so it is less useful and even causes environmental pollution. For this reason, this paper examines the potential utilization of EFB from the processing of POM to produce electrical energy based on gasification technology..........
